Mahanati movie which came out as the biopic of veteran actress Savithri has been creating ripples at the box office. The movie is having a dream run in terms of collections. Mahanati hit the screens on May 9th and the theatres are still getting houseful. Not only in the Telugu states, Mahanati movie is making it big in overseas as well.
The movie joined the 1 million dollar club in just 4 days after the release. Now, the movie has finally grossed the 2 million dollar mark as well. Nearly additional 17 screens are added for the film recently. With its surprising collections, Mahanati pushed down Agnyaathavasi movie with $2,065,527 and Bhaagamathie with $1,108,116 and occupied the third place by earning the collections of $2,016,652. The 2 films that are above Mahanati are Bharath Ane Nenu with $3,384,023 and Rangasthalam in the first place with $3,510,355.
Mahanati movie already grossed Rs. 12 crores share in AP and Nizam. Most of the theaters have expelled Naa Peru Surya and opted Mahanati. As Rangastalam successfully completed 50 days, some of the theaters in AP and Nizam are also expected to be given to Mahanati. So, we can expect much more magic from the movie.
