Ashwini Dutt has been bankrolling 'Mahanati', a biopic of legendary actress Savitri, under the direction of his Son-in-Law Nag Ashwin. The Producer who is known for making films with crazy combinations, lavish sets and larger than life subjects is now attempting a real life story. So, There is lot of curiosity among the movie buffs on how the veteran Actors with whom Savitri shared screen space with will be portrayed on the screen. Even a Iconic Actress who has done many films with Savitri had no clue how her character has been etched in the movie.
Actress Jamuna complains none from the unit of 'Mahanati' approached her either for taking consent or inputs so far. She questioned, 'How could a Director do justice to a real life character if he doesn't take feedback from that particular person?'.
