Mahanati Travels To Shanghai International Film Festival

Starring Keerthy Suresh in the lead role, director Nag Aswin pulled out an absolute stunner in the form of Mahanati. The film which released as the biopic of yesteryears actress Savitri has remained as one of the best movies ever made in the history of Telugu cinema. The film released on May 9th last year and ran 50 days in many centers.
Along with the positive reviews from the critics, the movie also garnered appreciation from the common audiences and movie lovers. Samantha, Vijay Devarakonda, Dulquer Salmaan and a lot of others played key roles in the movie. The film was selected and screened at a lot of National and International Film Festivals in the past.
Now, the latest update from the movie unit is that the film has been selected for the 22nd edition of Shanghai International Film Festival. This event is scheduled for June 15th to June 24th.
As per the reports, the film is also the front-runner in grabbing a National Award in the Best Regional Film Category
