Audio of the Season: Mahanubhavudu

It might look like a bigger statement and a little premature to say it but as per the audio, it is Mahanubhavudu that stands out in this Dussehra season. Film starring Sharwanand, Mehreen Prizada Kaur, written and directed by Maruthi Dasari is getting ready to take on the biggies like Jr. NTR's Jai Lava Kusa and Mahesh's Spyder. Even though the competition is not a crammed one like Sankranthi season with each movie releasing on the same day or the day after, still the three movies will be seen fighting it out for the top spot during the ten days of Dussehra.

Jai Lava Kusa and Spyder, have been the most awaited movies but their albums composed by experienced composers like Devi Sri Prasad and Harris Jayraj have been highly underwhelming and response from the fans has also been cold for the album. Even though Swing Zara seemed to savage Jai Lava Kusa for the moment still the popularity of both the albums depends on films box office performance.

When it comes to Mahanubhavudu, SS Thaman is looking to make a comeback with the album after a brief down time. The album with the electric pop heavy melody tracks like Rendu Kallu, Kiss Me Baby and Thaman's regular melody, Eppudaina has single handedly knocked out the other two audios. Thaman seems to have given his best after a sabbatical for this album giving the movie a boost. All the songs from the album including, fusion Mahanubhavudu, My Love is Back and Bamalu Bammalu round up the album pretty well.

Even though Thaman is a fan of synth score he tries to add some more layer of instrumentation to his tracks and believe us you will be surprised with the interlude quality in songs like Eppudaina. Seriously, Thaman seems to be back with this album. Come the 29th, even the movie, Mahanubhavudu seems to be another winner for Sharwanand and Maruthi Dasari. Clearly audio of the Dussehra season, Mahanubhavudu.
