One way biggies like 'Katama Rayudu'.. 'Duvvada Jagannadham' turned out to be loss ventures for overseas buyers.. on the other way small and medium range films fetched good profits for them. 'Fidaa' released in the last month.. it went on to collect $2 million in the overseas which has surprised many.

Another small budget flick 'Anando Brahma' released two weeks ago.. and it has crossed half a million dollars mark.. it is also a big surprise. Coming to the present, another small film 'Arjun Reddy' is creating a sensation in overseas now. It has already crossed $1 million mark. After considering the box office performance of the small films, overseas buyers inclined towards investing in small films rather than betting high on biggies.

It is known that the overseas deals are not closed easily for Mahesh Babu.. Pawan Kalyan.. NTR films. Buyers were hesitating to invest huge on their films because the risk is very high. But the situation is completely different for small films. Considering the success of 'Fidaa'.. 'Anando Brahma'.. 'Arjun Reddy' an overseas distributor got ready to bet high on 'Mahanubhavudu'.

It is known that 'Mahanubhavudu' is made in the combination of director Maruthi and hero Sharwanand. The overseas distributor said to have offered Rs.3.3 crores for this film. Considering the scale of this film Rs. 3.3 crores is a big figure. The movie has to collect $1 million to be a safe venture in the overseas. Maruthi's 'Bhale Bhale Magadivoy' was a huge hit in the overseas. On the other hand, Sharwanand's recent films also run well in the overseas. These things also increased the confidence in the overseas buyer for betting high on the film.
