Super Star Mahesh Babu played three different roles in the film Maharshi. He was seen as a college student, a CEO of a multinational company and also a farmer. For the first time in his career, Mahesh was seen as a Farmer in the movie. The actor played the role with a lot of conviction and added glamour to the character.
During the success meet of the movie, the film's producer Ashwini Dutt revealed an interesting connection between Mahesh and Farming. Ashwini Dutt shared that farming is in Mahesh's blood and revealed an interesting memory that was recorded decades ago.
"Mahesh's father Krishna garu acted in a lot of movies with the backdrop of Agriculture. He played the role of a farmer in many films and all of them have become biggest hits at the box-office. His mother Naga Ratnamma garu was a farmer. I used to go to his home and I met her once when she shared a lot of struggles that she underwent in the process of farming. Mahesh's nanamma is a successful farmer and that way, farming is in Mahesh's blood." shared Ashwini Dutt who produced the film jointly with PVP and Dil Raju.
