Mahesh Babu decided that his films will contain some social relevance after Srimanthudu success and Bharat Ane Nenu did take it a step forward.

With Maharshi, he again delivered a social message for IT Engineers and common people to give their weekend to farming and help growth of agriculture in India.

He asked people to show compassion but not sympathy to farmers. Director Madhura Sreedhar and Amit Sajane, a common man responded to the Weekend Agriculture Challenge by Mahesh and movie makers.

Mahesh shared pictures from Madhura Sreedhar, director and producer from TFI and Amit Sajane and wrote,

Well, the movie is holding up better than expected and it could be a good grosser for the Summer season if movie holds better on Monday also.

Trade is expecting the movie to have a better run at the theatres as there are films to be seen as threat for Maharshi releasing in coming weeks.
