Mahesh Always Wanted A Non-Working Wife: Namrata

Namrata Shirodkar is a name that needs no introduction. Prior to becoming superstar Mahesh Babu's wife, she is a huge model and an actor whose career was on the rise with many movies in Bollywood and Tollywood. She fell in love with Mahesh during the time of 'Vamsi' and got married in 2005. She left acting after becoming a wife and took care of the family in all aspects.
Mahesh and Namrata are one of the most successful and perfect couples in Tollywood who have stayed together through thick and thin. She doesn't talk to the media on a regular basis despite being active on social media. She recently gave an interview to a popular journalist and opened up about life, Mahesh, love, kids, business and many more.
Speaking about not working on films after the marriage, Namrata said, "Mahesh was very clear that he wanted a non-working wife. Even if I was working in some office, he would have told me to leave work. There are certain things we had for each other."
She added, "We were very clear that we will live in an apartment first after marriage because I was from Mumbai, and I didn't know how I would fit into these huge bungalows. I used to get scared so he moved into an apartment with me. That was my condition that if I'm going to come to Hyderabad, I will live in an apartment. Similarly, he was also clear that he didn't want me to work. Which is why we also took some time so that I finish shooting for all my films. When we got married, I had no work, so I wrapped up all my pending movies. We were clear. There was a lot of clarity among us."
The ‘Anji' actress revealed that she is not interested in acting anymore and confirmed that she did not entertain a few directors even though they offered movie roles. She said that 'Pokiri' is her favorite Mahesh movie while 'Vamsi' is not. She added that Sitara is not a planned child but she cannot imagine her life without her. Speaking about what she and Mahesh would have differences, Namrata said that it will mainly be about kids since they approach the star hero when they want something while she is the one who should keep them in check.
