Mahesh And Varun Tej Express Grief Over Gollapudi Maruthi Rao's Death

Including Vice President of India, several actors, expressed their grief on losing such a legend and here are some of the reactions from Telugu Cinema celebrities.
Vice President Shri Venkaiah Naidu tweeted,
"I am deeply saddened to learn about the demise of the well-known writer, critic, Telugu film & theatre actor, Shri Gollapudi Maruti Rao in Chennai today. Shri Rao was a very vocal, articulate and straight forward person. #GollapudiMarutiRao"
He further talked about his association with him.
"He was a nationalist to the core. As a journalist, he upheld ethics and moral values all through his life. Shri Maruti Rao will be remembered for his stellar performances on stage and the silver screen."
He concluded by saying,
"Recently, I called on him at the hospital to enquire about his health and was expecting him to recover. His demise is a huge loss for the Telugu film industry and society at large. I offer my heartfelt condolences to his family, friends and followers. #GollapudiMarutiRao"
