14 years for Mahesh Babu's Sentimenal Hit

Mahesh Babu and Shriya Saran teamed up together for the first time in 2004 for 'Arjun' movie. 'Toli Prema' beauty Keerthi Reddy played the sister role of Mahesh and the entire story runs around her. Hero Raja also played a vital role in the film. Touted to be an action drama, the film was directed by Gunasekhar and released on August 18th, 2004. It has been 14 years since the release of the movie.
Prakash Raj and Saritha played the antagonist roles. The movie became a super hit and ran for 100 days successfully in 9 Centres. The movie released just when Mahesh Babu was suffering from the flop of Naani and became a hit. Mahesh and Saritha even got Special Jury Awards and the movie also got screened at International Film Festival.
Later, the movie got remade as 'Maidan-E-Jung' in Hindi.
