Audience and trade are shell-shocked with the disastrous result of 'Agnyaathavaasi'. The theatrical rights were sold at whopping Rs.125 crores but the movie incurred nearly 60+ crore losses to the buyers making it one of the biggest disasters of Telugu cinema.

Just three-four months ago, Mahesh Babu 'Spyder' also met with the similar fate incurring record losses. Considering the developments, many people thought that distributors will stop running madly after combination craze and they will spend wisely on the upcoming biggies like Mahesh Babu-Koratala film and Allu Arjun-Vakkantham Vamsi film.

The latest developments indicate a complete contrast picture. Mahesh Babu's latest film 'Bharath Ane Nenu' reportedly getting Rs. 100+ crore offers for theatrical rights at present. It is known that the makers are yet to release the first look, teaser, trailer. If they are released, the demand will further rise. So, they will be a mad rush to buy the rights for sky-rocketing prices.

Going by these developments it is clearly evident that there is no 'Agnyaathavaasi' effect on upcoming biggies. Buyers are buyers, no disaster can stop them. It seems no lessons learned from 'Agnyaathavaasi'.
