Controversy over misuse of funds raised for MAA building through the Silver Jubilee celebrations in USA became a headache for Industry bigwigs. While the first event was planned with Chiranjeevi, Mahesh Babu is the chief guest for the Second Event. Megastar is unhappy with both Shivaji Raja & Naresh for making comments that hurt the reputation of MAA, Superstar is now in a dilemma whether to participate in the event or not.
Grapevine in the Industry is that Mahesh Babu called Chiranjeevi to seek clarity on what he should be doing when such a controversy has surfaced. He conveyed to Megastar about his decision to refrain from participating in MAA event until the issue is sorted out. Even Chiru appreciate Prince for taking a wise decision.
Neither Chiranjeevi nor Mahesh Babu would gain anything financially by participating in the events organized by MAA. They have come forward only to support a good cause in a selfless manner. What can they do if MAA Members who have to maintain transparency behave in an irresponsible manner?
