Mahesh Babu Doesn't Speak About His Films With Namrata
By: Tupaki Desk | 4 Oct 2021 4:03 PM GMTMahesh Babu is in a great phase of his career. All of his recent films, including Maharshi, Sarileru Neekevvaru, and Bharat Ane Nenu have minted big bucks at the box office. Mahesh Babu is also sizing up a series of big-ticket projects which include SSMB28, a Trivikram directorial, and SSMB29, a SS Rajamouli directorial. He is enjoying the best phase now. In his latest interview with a media outlet, Mahesh was asked about his approach towards hits and flops in his career.
"Yes, there were a few flops in my career. It really pains me when any of my films fail to succeed at the box office. Experiments like Spyder failed big time. Now, I am in a good phase. I have tasted consecutive successes in the recent past and I am happy with how things are going on at the moment. I am in a happy space with interesting projects in the pipeline. I most certainly learn from my failures and am always in the mood to evolve and analyze what went wrong," he said.
Adding further, Mahesh Babu says he doesn't discuss his films with anyone and even with his wife Namrata. "I am the only one who listens to the scripts. I decide on which script to pick and which to reject. I solely make the decision on my films. I don't discuss my films even with my wife Namrata. I like to be independent when it comes to script selection and that is how it's been right from the start of my career," Mahesh Babu said.
About the big-budget projects that Mahesh is a part of, he says filmmaking has become a costly affair and especially so with budgets shooting up to Rs 200 crores. "The responsibility is on me to ensure that the stakeholders in my projects do not suffer any financial losses. I am always looking to deliver commercial success so that everyone involved are profited," he said.
Mahesh Babu is currently busy with Sarakaru Vaari Paata and he intends to complete this project by the end of this month and then start working on Trivikram's SSMB28.
