Mahesh Babu gets emotional at SVP event, here's why

The gala pre-release event of Mahesh Babu's Sarkaru Vaari Paata was held at Yousufguda Police Grounds, Hyderabad the other night and it was attended by the principle cast and crew.
Speaking at the event, Mahesh Babu got emotional towards the end of his speech and he tried to control himself from shedding a few tears.
"I lost many of my close people during the pandemic and it was a really tough experience for me personally. The only thing that kept me going through this tough phase of life was your unconditional love and warmth. I will do my level best to make sure you guys are proud of my work. I am promising you that," Mahesh Babu said towards the end of his speech.
Notably, Mahesh lost two of his closest people - brother Ramesh Babu and personal PRO, BA Raju during the pandemic. This is what Mahesh is referring to as he says he misses them.
Mahesh's emotional ending to the even was one of the highlight moments of the same as not often do we see Mahesh getting emotional at public events.
The handsome superstar went on to heap praises on the lead cast and crew for their continual efforts for the film.
