Mahesh Babu In Talks With In-form Directors

Mahesh Babu is always on the lookout for good scripts. He is the first in line to encourage any talented filmmaker, who he believes, has the potential to handle a project with ensemble cast and crew. Coming to the topic, Mahesh Babu has apparently met with a handful of directors very recently. One of them is Trivikram, who will be helming Mahesh's upcoming project, tentatively titled SSMB28. This meeting was a formal one and Trivikram discussed SSMB28's script with Mahesh during the interaction. Mahesh is happy with the way the script of SSMB28 is shaping up. He is confident of delivering a blockbuster with Trivikram this time around.
Also, Mahesh met with Buchi Babu Sana of Uppena fame very recently. It is heard that Buchi Babu narrated a script to Mahesh Babu and he is very much interested in working with the star hero. However, Mahesh hasn't given any assurances to Buchi Babu yet. Mahesh has also met with Gopichand Malineni who recently delivered a box office blockbuster with Krack. Gopichand too has prepared a script for Mahesh Babu but it is unclear if he narrated the same to the latter or not. Gopichand is currently focused on his next project, which will have Nandamuri Balakrishna in the lead role.
Apart from these two directors, Mahesh is also said to have met with promising filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga who shot to fame with Arjun Reddy and followed it up with another massive blockbuster, Kabir Singh. Mahesh and Sandeep have been intending to do a film for a long time now. Sandeep had even narrated a script with Chittoor sugar factory backdrop to Mahesh but the latter felt the story was a bit too intense and he then asked Sandeep to come up with some other story. Incidentally, Sandeep then turned busy with his Bollywood assignment, Animal, an intense actioner starring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role. Mahesh recently met with Sandeep to catch up with him. Sandeep too is eager to work with Mahesh and this project might materialize after the latter is done with his current commitments. More details are awaited.
