Mahesh Babu has a huge fan following and big market in Telugu Cinema. There is no doubt in that.
He is one of the most charismatic stars too. But his movies are ending up as huge gambles as if they become a hit, they collect big but when they fail, they end up becoming such big disasters too.
Even though he is active on social media and his presence is huge for any Telugu star, his PR skills are not upto the standards of stars like Jr. NTR and Allu Arjun.
They have been constantly in touch with fans and have strong PR teams that will react more aggressively to negative publicity and see that at least the positive feedback is highlighted to safe guard the film from being a huge disaster unless they can do nothing about it.
So, Mahesh after Spyder, seems to have realised this and he called more than 4200 fans for a meet and greet on daily basis. Also, there is a new social media team that will try to negate the negative publicity on his films that few groups are increasingly doing.
The actor is expected to return to his top form with Bharat Ane Nenu, in the direction of Koratala Siva, like Srimanthudu.
With these special efforts, normally more reserved Mahesh Babu seems to be opening up a bit more. A welcome change we must say.
