Box-Office: Maharshi Joins The Million Dollar Club

Superstar Mahesh Babu's Maharshi has finally hit the screens last Friday amidst huge anticipation. As it is his silver jubilee film, there were additional expectations on the film. As expected the film opened huge in the domestic market but unfortunately, it failed to open big at the overseas market.
Maharshi has crossed the $1 million mark on the third day of its release. Though it is another million dollar film for Mahesh, no one expected that it will cross the mark so slowly. Generally, Mahesh's film would cross the million mark by the second day itself. But it took Maharshi three days to achieve it.
It was not released in many no. of screens and that might be the major reason for the under-performance. But the makers are expecting it to do well from now on as the movie has got positive talk. Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, Maharshi features Pooja Hegde as the heroine.

Friday: $230k
Saturday: $100k+
Total Gross: $1million plus
