Mahesh Babu Returned Rythu Bandhu Cheque

Mahesh Babu & his wife Namrata decided not to be the beneficiaries of Telangana Government's Rythu Bandhu scheme as it's meant for the poor & middle class dependant on Agriculture. Even Producer Ravi Shankar refused to accept the financial assistance provided by the Government.
In Maheswaram Mandal, Mahesh Babu & Namrata owned 39.2 Guntala and 1.20 acres of Farm Land. On Friday, Agricultural Officer Koteshwar Reddy & VRO Mahesh had offered the Rythu Bandhu scheme cheques to the Celebrity Couple at their Banjara Hills residence. Ghattamaneni Family choose not accept the cheques and hence they were handed over to the Government.
Producer Ravi Shankar opined Rythu Bandhu scheme is very beneficial to the Farmers in the state. He described the Rs 5 lakh insurance scheme for every farmer in the age group of 19-59 years is a remarkable decision taken by CM K Chandrasekhar Rao for the welfare of farmers.
