Superstar Mahesh Babu might be in Dubai shooting for his upcoming film 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' but he always keeps knowledge of the news happening in our country, He is known to use his social media handles for addressing social issues and increasing people's awareness apart from his own film proportions. He recently took to Twitter and responded to the tragedy that took place in Uttarakhand.
He wrote, 'My thoughts and prayers are with the people of #Uttarakhand at this time, Praying for everyone's safety and well-being.' The star hero even saluted the tremendous efforts of indo-Tibetan Border Police who got deployed for search and rescue operations.
Due to the heavy floods triggered by a glacier fall in Joshimath and the avalanche it caused on Sunday, over 7 people were reportedly found dead and over 170 people went missing. Sadly, most of them were NTPC and Rishinga Power Plant employees. The disaster response teams were sent in and this whole incident shook the nation.
