Mahesh recognized Neelaknata talent

Neelakanta always wanted to make films which have a striking balance between Art and Commerce.It materialised with Show followed by Missamma. He received two national awards, one for Best Screenplay and the other for the Best Feature Film in Telugu for "Show"
All his films earned applause from audience but not proved as commercial success.He recently in news with his latest film Maaya which was made based on concept of ‘Extra Sensory Perception’ (ESP)
The film received acclaims for director but not proved as commercial hit.But the film helped Neelakanta to debut into Bollywood.
Neelakanta is venturing into Bollywood with remake of Maaya .Ace Director Mahesh Bhatt who has special concern for thrillers is going to produce the movie.
Recently Mahesh watched Maaya special screening in Hyderabad along with his elder brother Mukesh Bhatt and nephew Vishesh Bhatt. They had lauded Neelakanta for the unique concept and his making abilities.According to sources Mahesh asked Neelakanta to direct the Hindi version too for which the director has agreed. Lead cast will be finalized soon after completing script work.
