Majili film released a week before elections day and many thought the move could kill the film run and collections.
But Naga Chaitanya and Samantha starter got a boost from Ugadi weekend to register a break even quickly and now, election day in Nizam helped the movie a lot.
It did the same in Andhra Pradesh, but the movie, had to face no shows during the Morning and Matinee times in many areas in the state.
Evening and Night shows have shown big jumps in collections in both the states and that indicates a strong word of mouth for the film.
This means the movie will see a better second weekend that expected even if Chitralahari turns out be massive.
