'Major' Scores Big With 35.6 Cr Gross Worldwide!

Handsome and talented hero Adivi Sesh's recent release 'Major' had a positive buzz right from the very beginning and people were highly impressed by its teaser. The movie's unit held special screenings all across India even before the release and got a phenomenal response everywhere.
The movie opened to packed houses in the Telugu states and it is getting good reception in other languages too. The producers have officially released a poster announcing that 'Major' earned a gross of 35.6 crores worldwide in three days. This is a huge number for Adivi Sesh considering the budget of 'Major'. Maratha beauty Saiee Manjrekar will be seen as the hero's romantic interest in 'Major'. Telugu girl Sobitha Dhulipala played a key role in this film. This pan-Indian project is produced jointly by Sony Pictures India, A+S Movies and GMB Entertainments jointly.

'Major' is based on the life of Sandeep Unnikrishnan who sacrificed his life during the '26/11' attacks in Mumbai back in 2008. The multilingual film 'Major' traces the journey of Major Sandeep from childhood, teenage, and glorious years in the army to the tragic events of the Mumbai attack where he was martyred, touching upon the different aspects of his being.
