'Major' Team To Resume Shooting From July!

After major hits like 'Goodachari', 'Yevaru' and 'Kshanam', talented hero Adivi Sesh is coming up with an inspirational tale titled 'Major'. Based on the life of Major Sundeep Unnikrishnan who saved many lives in the 26/11 terror attacks, 'Major' is being made by Sashi Kiran Thikka. The teaser got a huge response from the audience and they are eagerly waiting for its release.
It is Adivi Sesh's first pan-Indian film and was supposed to hit the screens on July 2nd but got postponed due to lockdown. Recently, Adivi Sesh posted a picture of himself with the film's producer Sharath. It was taken while they were shooting in the Chitkul region last year. He wrote, "When we began #MajorTheFilm last year :) #Chitkul was never colder. But brilliant visuals and amazing people led to great memories. Can't wait to start filming in July. An Epic Story inspired by the life of #MajorSandeepUnnikrishnan :) @SharathWho."
The shooting will be resumed from July and the team is busy with the preparations. About 80% of the shoot has been wrapped and the rest is expected to finish soon. Prakash Raj and Revathi will be seen as Adivi Sesh's parents in the film while Saiee Manjrekar plays his love interest. Sobhita Dhulipala too plays an important role in this action thriller. Thanks to the wonderful teaser, 'Major' became a hot cake in the trade circles. The overseas rights were sold for fancy rates and this much-awaited project is bankrolled jointly by Sony Pictures Films India along with GMB Entertainments and A+S Movies.
