Makers of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo to rope Manisha Koirala for tabu's role?

Icon Star Allu Arjun starrer Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo had a terrific performance at the box office and stood as an Industry-hit. The Trivikram directorial also remains the highest grosser in Allu Arjun's career.
Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo had an ensemble cast of Tall beauty Pooja Hegde, Tabu, Jayaram, Sachin Khedkar, Murali Sharma and others.
Now the Hit Telugu film is gearing up for a Bollywood remake. Happening young hero Kartik Aaryan and slim beauty Kriti Sanon are playing the lead roles.
As a latest update about the remake, the makers are holding talks with yesterday superstar Manisha Koirala to step into the shoes of Tabu.
It is also said that the makers had opted for Tabu for the remake, given her popularity in B-town. As the veteran actress is sharing the sareen space with Kartik Aaryan in the Bhool Bhuliaya 2, they are looking for other options to give a new look for the film.
The makers wants to rope in Manisha Koirala for the remake, as they feel that she can pull of the role easily. Talks are underway and she is expected to give her nod soon.
If the pandemic would have not hit us, the remake would have hit the floors for the shooting in 2020 itself. But the project went on to delay due to the Covid situation.
Ace Production House Geetha Arts, owned by Allu Arvind will bankroll the remake with collaboration with a Bollywood Production House. Official statement in this regard will be issued soon.
