Prashanth Neel of KGF fame and Baahubali actor Prabhas' first ever collaboration, 'Salaar' is one of the most awaited films ever since its announcement. The powerful combination has caused a lot of excitement among the fans across India, particularly in the Telugu and Kannada film industries.
The makers of the pan-India project are currently busy finalising the cast. The latest we hear is veteran actor Mohanlal has been approached to play a key role in the film. If the reports are believed, the makers have offered a whopping Rs 20 crore as Mohanlal's remuneration.
Mohanlal has a big craze in Malayalam. Considering his market, the director is planning to rope the actor to make the film a big one. However, there is no official word on this yet. This film is slated to take off in January and the makers are hoping at releasing it in 2022 if everything goes as per their plans.
