Hero Sumanth who came from Akkineni family scored some hits in the starting days of his career and proved his talent but recorded no hit movies lately. He was last seen in Naruda Donaruda movie which came out as a remake of Bollywood movie Vicky Donor. Though Vicky Donor is a hit movie in Hindi, Naruda Donaruda failed to impress the Telugu audience.

Sumanth is currently busy with his upcoming movie Malli Raava. Touted to be a pure love story the team has recently released theatrical trailer of the film. The entire trailer video focuses on the love story between the leads including the romance, love, breakup, sentiment scenes etc. The heroine says 'I love you' first and later claims that she doesn't want to marry him. What actually happened between them and why the couple brokeup has been a suspense and the video itself is a biggest hint that the entire movie revolves around the love track between the hero and heroine. Sumanth dialogue " Nuvu na daggaraga unnapudu istapadadam.. dooramga unnapudu badhapadadam.. danni minchi nakem telidu (Other than feeling happy when you are near me and becoming sad when you are not, I know nothing) impressed the audience.

The lead actress Akanksha Singh impressed the viewers with her cute expressions. Hero Sumanth tried to show novelty in his acting. The chemistry between the leads worked out well. The production values are high and the music also suited the scenes well. It seems like Sumanth is calling the success to come back with the title 'Malli Raava'. Let's see what happens..
