Manam beats ONE; Targets AD

Akkineni multistarrer Manam is super hit in overseas. The family entertainer starring ANR, Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya collected 1,412,302 [Rs 8.33 crores] in two weeks in USA alone. The movie beat Mahehs ONE movie and is now biggest hit in overseas for 2014 and all time 4th highest grosser in Tollywood. Bollywood trade expert Taran Adarsh tweeted, "#Manam [Telugu] is a SMASH HIT in USA. Collects $ 1,412,302 [Rs 8.33 cr] at the end of Week 2. Awesome! Day-wise details in next tweet..." He added,
Mahesh Babu's 1: Nenokkadine, which has collected Rs 8.24 crores ($1,329,496) at the USA Box Office in its life time, was the highest grosser Telugu movie of 2014. Manam has beaten this record in just 14 days
Manam is likely to become number 1 movie at the box-office by smashing the collections of Pawan Kalyan starrer Attarintiki Daredi very soon. Attarintiki Daredi is in unreachable position at top with $ 1.89 M, while SVSC is at second with $ 1.63 M and Dookudu is third highest grosser with $ 1.57 M collections.
Overseas audience vote to SVSC and AD is an indication of how much they crave for family subjects and stories. SVSC and AD both had a stiff fight at the US box office with eventually AD becoming the highest grosser.
