Did Annapurna Studios Did Not Get 'Manam' Insurance?
By: Tupaki Desk | 6 Jun 2018 5:46 PM GMTWe have widely reported about "Manam" film home set being burnt down in a fire accident at Annapurna Studios, months ago.
Nagarjuna said that they have done insurance to the set and soon, they will re-construct it as it is a lasting memory for his family and Annapurna staff. Manam is the last film of legendary actor, Akkineni Nageswara Rao, his father and founder of Annapurna Studios.
But few media reports claim that the Annapurna Studios is unable to get the insurance money, even after the investigation is completed.
The reports say that the insurance company has some doubts regarding the accident and they kept the file aside for now.
Well, the staff has reported that the fire accident is caused due to short circuit but few suggested that it could be planned accident too.
But the investigation in this matter has ended up being inconclusive and hence, the insurance money did not credit in the Studios account, yet it seems.
We don't know the full truth behind the matter but hope Annapurna Studios will clarify on these reports soon.
