After the exit of Roja, Telugu Desam Party lacked a strong woman leader who could influence the people all over the state. Seems like the search for political opponent for Nagari MLA ended with Lakshmi Manchu.
Lakshmi Manchu has been busy with film assignments and TV Shows. 'Memu Saitham' program fetched her good reputation and many people in dire state got benefitted from this show.
If the speculations are to be believed, TDP might field Manchu Lakshmi as its candidate in Chandragiri Assembly segment during 2019 Elections. By doing so, Media attention will shift from Roja to Lakshmi.
