Manchu Manoj is known for acting in different films irrespective of the result. He has got good recognition in this aspect but he didn't taste a single commercial hit in the recent past. Even though he came up with action entertainer 'Gunturodu' to come out of the flop streak, the movie was rejected by the audience. Now, Manoj has pinned all his hopes on 'Okkadu Migiladu'.
'Okkadu Migiladu' is made based on the theme of Srilankan civil war. Manoj is essaying a dual role in the film. He is essaying a student leader role and another role similar to LTTE chief Prabhakaran. The film unit has released the posters of these two characters recently on the occasion of Manoj birthday. The makers have succeeded in creating good buzz on the film with a different theme. They have initially planned to release the film in September but they have postponed the release to October.
Manoj has revealed this information through twitter. He said that they have postponed the release due to the delay in post production work. It is known that there is heavy competition at the box office in September with several biggies slated for release. So, 'Okkadu Migiladu' team is not ready to take the risk of releasing their film in the competition as per the buzz.
