South Audience Deeply Hurt With 'Ponniyan Selvan' Makers

Popular South director Mani Ratnam is all set to test his luck with a big-budget movie which is his dream project titled as 'Ponniyan Selvan'. Oscar-winning music director A R Rahman is on board to score music for this film.
The movie is going to mark the amazing combination of Mani Ratnam and AR Rahman after a long time. Rumors recently came out the movie is going to have 12 songs and as per the latest reports, Kollywood star lyricist Vairamuthu is going to pen the lyrics for all the songs. But it seems like the audience is not at all happy with this decision. It is known that Vairamuthu is one of the popular names that was heard widely during the #MeToo Movement in the South Film Industry. So many artists including popular singer Chinmayi raised their voice about the sexual misconduct of Vauramuthu. So, the audience is now angry about AR Rahman roping in Vairamuthu for this movie.
We have to wait and see what AR Rahman is going to do now. On the other hand, the movie is going to feature star cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Vikram, Karthi, Mohan Babu, etc in the lead roles.
