First Look: Mani Ratnam's Next Project!

'Ok Bangaram' released almost an year ago. Finally, Mani Ratnam starts filming of his upcoming project 'Kaatru Veliyidal' starring Karthi and Aditi Rao Hydari. The intriguing first look poster is an instant hit with Movie Buffs. Pairing of Karthi and Aditi Rao is something no one expected, but Mani made them look perfect as a couple.
Initially, 'Premam' fame Sai Pallavi was cast as female lead in this project. Mani Ratnam, however, felt Aditi Rao would be an apt choice after few key changes in the script. His judgement seems to pretty much right upon watching this poster.
Karthi began his career as an Assistant Director for Mani Ratnam. Today, He is working under the Direction of his guru and what an achievement this has been for him.
Shoot of 'Kaatru Veliyidal' is happening in Ooty now. It is scheduled for release early next year.
