Veteran director Mani Ratnam is currently working on his dream project Ponniyin Selvan. The director is bringing a Tamil novel with the same title into a movie. Tipped to be historic drama, the movie is going to star a huge cast from different languages. The movie will be showcasing the life of Chola Emperor Arulmozhi.
At the Cannes film festival, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has formally given a statement that she is a part of the project. The actress revealed that she is excited, thriller and humbled to get back to Mani Ratnam's film sets. On the other side, there are rumours that Keerthy Suresh will also be a part of the movie. Although these names were being heard for a long time now, the surprising news is about Anushka Shetty being a part of this prestigious project.
