Mani Sir Next With Vijay Sethupathi?

Mani Ratnam-Ram Charan combo was almost finalised before the release of 'Cheliya'. Even Charan revealed that he is looking forward to work with Mani sir. But the situation has been changed completely after the disastrous box office result of 'Cheliya'. The result has put Charan-Mani Ratnam project on the back-burner.
There are reports that Charan is getting ready for Koratala Siva project next. On the other hand, there is no clarity on Mani Ratnam next till now. When Mani Ratnam was asked about Charan project sometime back, he told that 'The project is very much on.. but I can't exactly say when it goes to the sets'. Meanwhile, latest Kollywood reports indicate that Mani sir is getting ready to team up with Tamil hero Vijay Sethupathi.
Vijay Sethupathi has become a hotshot hero in Tamil with continuous hits. His recent multi-starrer with Madhavan 'Vikram Vedha' also turned out to be a superhit. Sethupathi said to have recently met Mani sir at his office in Chennai and both had a discussion about their association. If everything goes well, Maniratnam-Vijay Sethupathi combo will go to the floors.
