Manikarnika Will Mesmerise With Action Episodes
By: Tupaki Desk | 16 Sep 2017 6:23 AM GMTKrish is Known as a talented director in Tollywood. He is directing a straight film for the first time in Bollywood. It is known that Krish directed a Hindi film 'Gabbar Is Back' in the past but it is the remake of Chiranjeevi film 'Tagore'. Krish has proved himself in directing a historical film with 'Gautami Putra Satakarni' and he is presently working on 'Manikarnika' starring Bollywood Queen Kangana Ranaut.
The shooting of this historical film is going on with jet speed now. As the story is based on Jhansi Ki Rani Lakshmibai, it is a common understanding that the movie will have several action episodes. But the audience will be surely surprised to know how Krish and his team is picturising them. Hollywood action choreographer Nick Powell is working on this film. Nick has worked for super hit Hollywood films like 'Braveheart'.. 'The Bourne Identity'.. 'Resident Evil Retribution' etc in the past. He has already trained Kangana in horse riding.. swords fights etc.
Not only Kangana but 'Manikarnika' team is giving special training to 300 Hyderabadi fighters in Mumbai for the action sequences. Industry insiders are commenting that this is the first time an Indian film is witnessing this kind of action stunts in a female oriented film.
