Sairat is Getting Ready For Telugu
By: Tupaki Desk | 18 Jun 2017 10:55 AM GMTWe are all talking about 'Baahubali 2' now. The reason is simple.. it has shown how a regional film can strike big at the national level. It has proved that if the content is good then there is no stopping for collections. Suprisingly, Marathi film 'Sairat' which has released last year has done the same thing.
A Marathi film has never collected 40 crore collections earlier. But 'Sairat' has crossed 50 crore mark.. 100 crore mark and it's final collections stood at 110 crore creating history. The most surprising thing is that the actual budget of the film is just 4 crore. This movie is remade in to South Indian languages now. They have already remade in to Kannada with the title 'Manasu Mallige'. The producers have announced that they are going to make Telugu-Tamil versions soon. Rockline Venkatesh has the remake rights of Sairat for all the South languages. Zee Studios is going to produce the remake versions in association wtih Rockline Venkatesh.
The producers have come to a conclusion on the casting of the film. Even though they have not announced officially, they have decided to make the film with new actors. Producers are of the opinion that the story is not be suitable for the actors with image. Rockline Venkatesh has few options regarding the director but Zee Studios is keen on roping original director Nagraj Manjule for the remakes as well.
