One Day Direction By Maruthi

If you remember, Oke Okkadu, the protagonist in the film, becomes Chief Minister of the state for one day. Similarly, Maruthi became director of Brand Babu.

Here, he did not get challenged by any one but the situation demanded him to do so. Prabhakar, the director of the film had to attend his brother's funeral and on that day, Maruthi took over just for that day.

Hero Shailendra revealed this and said that he approached Maruthi to direct him first but as he asked for two years time, Shailendra took the story to Prabhakar.

He revealed that Maruthi directed the Interval scene and also visited the sets regularly to see the progress.

Sumanth Shailendra said that he did four Kannada films till now and wants to concentrate Telugu films at this point of time.

Brand Babu is releasing in August and the team is hopeful of a big success
