Massive Updates On Allu Arjuns Pushpa
X
Allu Arjun is currently occupied with Pushpa: The Rise which is nearing completion. This film is announced for theatrical release this Christmas season and the makers have commenced the promotions already. The first song from the film's audio album 'Daakko Daakko Meka' has already emerged as a chartbuster. Now, the stage is set for the arrival of the second song as well. As per reports, Allu Arjun will be wrapping up Pushpa: The Rise shoot by this October. It is heard that he will be joining hands with Vakeel Saab director Sriram Venu for his next project, Icon, which was announced a long while back. Allu Arjun has decided to slot Icon right in between Pushpa parts 1&2. Icon will be his immediate next project after Pushpa: The Rise.

Coming to Icon, the Sriram Venu directorial will be a pan-India film as well. It will be releasing in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. It is said that the project will be launched in November and it will commence regular shoot from this December. Allu Arjun has given his nod to the script already and he is raring to take the project onto the floors. Dil Raju will be producing the project and he had commenced the pre-production already. The makers are currently focused on locking the principal cast and crew for the project.

As per reports, Pooja Hegde is locked to play one of the female lead roles in the film. The makers are in talks with young actresses like Krithi Shetty and Janhvi Kapoor for the other female lead role. Janhvi Kapoor might well bag the role, given her popularity in Bollywood, and Icon, being a pan-India film will need actors from other language industries. But we can't rule out the possibility of Krithi Shetty bagging the role just yet.

Another interesting update is that Thaman has been roped in for the project. He will be composing the music for the Allu Arjun starrer. This will be his second collaboration with Allu Arjun in recent times after the blockbuster Ala Vaikunthapurramulo. More details about the cast and crew will be out once the project is officially announced.
