Mayhem At 'Oscars' As Will Smith Punches Chris Rock On Stage!

The Oscar Awards Ceremony always grabs a lot of headlines due to various things like the fashion sense of celebrities, award winners, the reaction of stars and representation. But the 94th Oscar awards became news because of Will Smith's punching popular comedian Chris Rock.
On the night, Will Smith won the Best Actor Award for 'King Richard' which was based on the life of Richard Williams who is the father of world-renowned tennis players Venus Williams and Serena Willams. The 'MIB' hero was in tears after accepting the award and thanked everyone during his speech.
But the biggest incident of the night was him punching Chris Rock for a joke the latter made on Will Smith's wife Jada Pinkett. The comedian came on stage while presenting the award for Best Documentary. As a part of the comedy skit, he made a joke on Jada Pinkett Smith's bald look by saying that it is similar to Demi Moore's look in 'G.I. Jean'. Pinkett was not at all happy with the joke as she suffered with Alopecia Areata since last year.
The joke made on her did not go down well with Will Smith who laughed at first but went into angry mode once the joke went further. He walked on stage and punched Chris Rock. He even said that Chris shouldn't talk about his wife again. Later, he apologized to the Oscars for his actions.
