Can These Two Buzzy Films Get Audience Approval On OTT Platforms?

Tharun Bhasscker's second film, Ee Nagaraniki Emayyindi did very well on OTT platforms but couldn't create same magic as Pelli Choopulu at box office.
He made his debut as lead actor with Meeku Mathrame Cheptha and ENE fate could repeat. It will be available on Hotstar from 16th December.
Tenali Ramakrishna BA BL, also found some buzz prior to release but it did not do well at the box office. The hero and producer of the film, Sandeep Kishan also said the same in one of his interviews, post release.
The movie will be available on Hotstar from 17th December. For films like these, digital release is a boon, as many who did not watch them at theatres, will watch them on OTT platforms.
If they succeed to impress, next films of the cast, crew can find theatrical audiences or they may find opportunities to explore stories on OTT platforms further.
While in a way, OTT platforms are harmful for theatres, in other way, they are a boon to filmmakers. Now, the challenge for filmmakers is to make films that drag people to theatres.
