Second Look: Meet The Red Sandalwood Smuggler 'Pushpa'!
By: Tupaki Desk | 8 April 2020 6:52 AM GMTStylish star Allu Arjun surprised the audience on his birthday with the first look of his upcoming movie 'Pushpa' directed by Sukumar. Now, he came up with a second look within no time and the poster shows Bunny sitting on the floor with a lot of red sanders by his side and back. It looks like, the hero got caught by the police while smuggling them. The poster looks quite intense with intriguing looks of Allu Arjun as 'Pushpa'. The two posters released till now promises that the film is going to be an engaging rural drama with a lot of thrilling moments.
This poster made it clear that Allu Arjun will be seen as Pushpak Narayana, a red sanders smuggler. The posters give you a vibe of Malayalam film 'Pulimurugan' (dubbed as 'Manyam Puli'). In that film, Mohanlal is seen as a lorry driver who lives in the forest and hunts tigers. Looks like Bunny's character has a slight similarity to Mohanlal's role but the comparisons end there.
News is that Mahesh was supposed to do this film after 'Maharshi' but it was Mahesh who reportedly suggest Sukumar to make this film with either Bunny or Ram Charan. Sources also claim that Charan wanted to do this film but Sukumar had to wait till his 'Rangasthalam' hero finishes 'RRR' which may take a long time. That is why this film landed in the lap of Allu Arjun and going by the posters, Bunny is looking perfect for this role.
