Mega Brothers Changing The Script Completely For Their Image!

The Mega brothers are completely relying on remakes lately. While Megastar Chiranjeevi picked Tamil super hit 'Kaththi' for his comeback film and remade it as 'Khaidi No 150', his younger brother Pawan Kalyan remade Bollywood film 'Pink' as 'Vakeel Saab' for his return to Tollywood. With both the remakes becoming highly successful, they have opted for remakes once again.

They picked two Malayalam films which impressed the audience a lot. While Chiranjeevi decided to remake 'Lucifer' starring Mohanlal in the lead, Pawan Kalyan picked 'Ayyappanum Koshiyum' remake. Doing remakes is not bad at all but experts say that ruining the film’s soul for the sake of image is. News from the insiders is that both these films are completely re-written to suit the image of these star heroes.

As we know, Trivikram wrote the dialogue version of 'Ayyappanum Koshiyum' Telugu remake. Apart from that, he reportedly was involved in the script changes too. Apparently, they made the hero character younger than the original and added some new characters to generate comedy. Also, they included some fight sequences which were not there in the original to cater to Pawan’s fans.

As we all know, Megastar Chiranjeevi took a lot of time for accepting 'Lucifer' remake. He changed a lot of directors before Mohan Raja convinced him with adequate changes. Rumours are that the makers have taken the basic story from 'Lucifer' and completely changed it according to Chiru's liking.

While both these Malayalam films have a lot of scope for heroism, there are not mere commercial entertainers and are aimed at being realistic for most of the time. Seems like it is not an option the Mega heroes are willing to take. Both these movies have another hero who has a lot of significance in the story. We need to see if they retain it or reduce their character length to elevate Chiru and Pawan's images. Hope the soul doesn't get lost in all the additional elements which are being added. While Pawan Kalyan's film is coming on Sankranti 2022 as announced recently, the shooting of Megastar's 'Lucifer' remake will begin from 13th August.
