Mega Fans Left In Huge Disappointment As Expected!

Mega fans who hoped against all odds that they would hear a good news about Megastar Chiranjeevi's much-awaited film 'Acharya' are left in huge disappointment. This social drama featuring Megastar and Ram Charan in the lead roles was all set to hit the screens on 4th February. The makers even started the promotions as the upbeat item song 'Saana Kastam' was also released. But things took a bad turn when Sankranti big films like 'RRR' and 'Radhe Shyam' backed out of the Sankranti race. They were supposed to get released on 7th and 14th January respectively but got postponed. There were rumours that 'Acharya' may also be postponed.
The team did not respond about it till date but they let out the bad news on the festival day. On the occasion of Sankranti, the makers made an announcement through a special poster which said, "Due to the ongoing widespread of Covid, the release of Acharya is postponed. A new release date would be announced soon. Wishing everyone a happy Sankranthi. Please stay safe and follow all the covid protocols."
As we know, 'Acharya' is a film that deals with corruption in Devadaya Dharmadaya Sakha and it is set in a fictional village called 'Dharmasthali'. Koratala Siva has also included an angle of Naxalism in this movie. Kajal Agarwal is the heroine for Chiranjeevi in 'Acharya' while Pooja Hegde will be seen romancing Charan. Mani Sharma is the music composer for this social drama and the lead actors will be seen as Naxalites in this film. There are a lot of expectations on this movie and lot of controversies surrounding it too as RMP doctors recently filed a case saying that their sentiments were hurt in the recently released 'Saana Kastam' song which featured Regina Cassandra.
