Megastar's Personal Offer Gets Turned Down By Bollywood Hero!
By: Tupaki Desk | 17 Aug 2021 10:40 AM GMTIt is a dream for many people to share screen space with Megastar Chiranjeevi. While many people in the Telugu states and South India feel that way, we also need to accept that it is not the same for others. For them, it is about the character or importance or their own films which will be the first priority. Star Bollywood actor Salman Khan has reportedly turned down Chiranjeevi's offer and this news is currently going viral.
Megastar has recently kickstarted working on 'Lucifer' remake under the direction of Mohan Raja. While the rest of the characters are finalised, the role which was done by Malayali hero Prithviraj in the original is a very important one but the actor who will be playing that role hasn't been selected yet. While the role is not more than 5 minutes, we can say that its significance can be felt throughout.
If sources are to be believed, Megastar himself called Salman Khan and asked him to do this small role. As it is known, Chiru shares a good bond with Salman Khan for a long time and even his son Ram Charan is close to the 'Dabangg' hero. But reports suggest that Salman politely declined the offer as he already has a lot of projects in his hand and couldn't give the required dates. Now, the makers of 'Lucifer' remake are reportedly looking for other options and are considering Chiyaan Vikram now. Let us wait and see who gets to play that role. The team is yet to announce the cast members as the shooting started recently.
Coming to Chiranjeevi's next film 'Acharya', this high-budget social drama which is written and being directed by Koratala Siva has been in the making from a really long time. Set in a fictional village named 'Dharmasthali', this film revolves around temples, corruption and even has a touch of Naxalism too. Pooja Hegde will be seen as his romantic interest of Charan while Kajal is the heroine of Chiranjeevi. Sangeetha will give a special appearance and veteran composer Mani Sharma is working on the music. The film also includes noted actors like Sonu Sood and others playing crucial roles. Fans are eagerly waiting to see the father and son duo together on the big screen. Chiranjeevi will also be working on 'Vedalam' remake which will be directed by Meher Ramesh soon.
