Megastar Makes Fun Of His Own Disaster Film!

When the project was announced, 'Acharya' was one of the most-awaited films in Tollywood. The combination of Megastar Chiranjeevi and star director Koratala Siva made everyone get excited and the expectations grew even bigger when Ram Charan decided to play a special role in it. But this film ended up as a nightmare for each and every person including Chiru himself. The audience regretted watching the film in theatres while Chiru and Charan's images were a bit damaged. Koratala who never face a failure till then ended up with a disaster in the form of 'Acharya'.
The film faced huge losses and the issues are slowly getting settled now. Megastar who attended as the chief guest for the 'First Day First Show' pre-release event has acknowledged the result of 'Acharya' and made a satirical comment on it. Speaking at the event, Megastar shared the special bond he has with 'Purnodaya Films' banner. He wished the entire team and said that the film industry needs such young and fresh blood to go ahead. Talking about the audience not coming to theatres, he stated that the content needs to be good and praised recent hits like 'Bimbisara', 'Karthikeya 2' and 'Sita Ramam'.
He added that the public are not going to watch the film if there is no quality in the offered content. Megastar made fun of himself saying that he was one of the victims in recent times who learned this truth the hard way. It is wonderful to see such a big star admitting his failure and giving good advice to all the young filmmakers.
Megastar is currently focused on 'Godfather' which is getting released on 5th October. It is a remake of the Malayalam film 'Lucifer'. Salman Khan is playing a special role while Nayanthara will be seen in a crucial role. Puri Jagannadh and Satya Dev are the other prominent cast. 'Godfather' is being mounted on a lavish scale. Mohan Raja is directing the movie while RB Choudary and NV Prasad are producing it.
Apart from this, he is acting in Meher Ramesh's 'Bholaa Shankar' which is a remake of 'Vedhalam'. He is being directed by Bobby in another mass entertainer named 'Waltair Veerayya' which is still in the production stage.
