Megastar To Sideline This Young Director's Script!

As we know, Megastar Chiranjeevi officially announced an entertainer under young director Venky Kudumula's direction. 'RRR' producer DVV Danayya will be bankrolling it. Venky is known for his hilarious films like 'Bheeshma' and 'Chalo'. This protégé of Trivikram Srinivas has got the golden opportunity to work with Megastar very early in his career.
But there are a few doubts which are sprouting in people's minds about the future of this project. After the official announcement, there is no update on this movie whatsoever. Insiders claim that Megastar became quite skeptical about the scripts he is choosing after the disastrous result of 'Acharya'. This social drama directed by star filmmaker Koratala Siva disappointed the audience on so many levels.
Due to this, Chiru decided to give the most importance to the story and script. Apparently, Venky Kudumula gave two narrations to the senior hero but he did not get a green signal. Reports are coming out that Chiru-Venky Kudumula's project has been shelved for now.
Currently Megastar is working on 'Godfather' which is a remake of Malayalam hit film 'Lucifer'. Mohan Raja is handling the megaphone for this remake while Nayanthara is the female lead. Thaman is the music composer while Salman Khan will be seen in a special role.
He is simultaneously working on 'Bholaa Shankar' too which is a remake of Tamil super hit movie 'Vedhalam'. Meher Ramesh is the director of this remake while Mahati Swara Sagar is the music composer. Keerthy Suresh will be seen as Megastar's younger sister in this film while Tamannaah plays the role of Chiru's romantic interest. He also okayed another project with KS Ravindra aka Bobby. The movie is named 'Waltair Veerayya'.
