Mehreen Kaur Pirzada of 'Krishnagaadi Veera Prema Gadha' fame is a professional Air Pistol Shooter. Being trained in Air Pistol Shooting, She was picked up for Pre-Nationals twice but missed out on playing due to her High School exams.
Since childhood, Mehreen was a tomboy. Hence, She liked stuff like Guns instead of outfits, make-up & etc., Choosing Air Pistol improved her focus to a great extent. After quitting it, Mehreen offered her pistol to her younger cousin. One of her cousins won silver medal in Commonwealth Games as well in shooting.
Of course, Mehreen will take time to be at the shooting range and practice for sometime whenever she goes to Punjab even after foraying into films. The 'KVPG' Beauty, however, doesn't regret quit Air Pistol Shooting as she is enjoying the life of a celebrity. Altogether, Five notable films were signed by this Punjabi Beauty after her maiden flick. She might showcase how a pistol could be handled by her like a pro onscreen anytime soon.
