A Movie Release After 49 Days!!
By: Tupaki Desk | 19 April 2018 10:14 AM GMTTamil Film Producers Council fought for 45 days with Digital Service Providers, Exhibitors and Government for their main demands.
Vishal and his team have been able to get all the producers on one word and even though it took long time, TFPC won all their demands with few altercations that favour the producers and exhibitors more.
Goverment even though did not bring down tax, they agreed that a producer and exhibitor can go for flexible ticket rate system for ordinary consumer, regular viewer of films to feel comfortable to watch a small film and a big film, at the same time, with a highest rate cap.
Now, TFPC has allowed the producers to release their films and first Tamil film, releasing after 49 days is Mercury.
The movie is directed by Karthik Subbaraj starring Prabhu Deva and it released all over the world other than in Tamil Nadu.
Now, it has got a wide release and they have asked two more small films to be released but none came forward.
The meeting is going on at TFPC to allot the dates for all the films that have planned to release over the two months that will not hurt any producer to lose more money.
Vishal and his fellow producers asked Rajnikanth's Kaala and Kamal Haasan's Viswaroopam 2 producers to decide their release dates, as they do not have anything to offer for them as suggestion and they want to put up any restrictions on them.
