Vishal Turns Villain For Mersal Release

Mersal is one of the biggest films in the South film industry. The Kollywood film is tipped to be a prestigious movie in the recent times with a huge budget invested on the project. Vijay is the hero playing three different roles in the film and star writer Vijayendra Prasad penned the script for the movie. The film is gearing up for a grand release soon but the makers arenow facing hurdles in the form of the statements made by Vishal.
Vishal, the president of Nadigar Sangam announced that there will be no new releases in Tamilnadu until the government lifts the ban on the additional taxes being laid on the new film releases. From the last seven days, there are no new releases in the state and the same decision is going to be implemented for few more days. In this scenario, the Diwali release Mersal will be a big loser at the box office.
Though this fight from Vishal might lead for a better future for Tamil films, it might bring losses for the films that are geared up for a release in the coming weeks.
