'Rajugadu' Actress Shares Her Sexual Harassment Experience With Hero

The MeToo movement has now become a hot topic in Bollywood. The latest to join this and share her personal horrific experience is 'Rajugadu' and 'Manasuku Nacchindi' actress Amyra Dastur.
Amyra told in an interview that though she hasn't faced casting couch yet, she had faced sexual harassment in the South and Bollywood. She added that she can't reveal the names now and will only open up when she feels secure. "I worked with an actor who squeezes himself up against me during a shot in a song and whispers in my ear that he is so glad to have me in the film with him. When I threw him off me and refused to speak to him again, he made my life miserable. Even my director told me not to make an issue and honestly couldn't care less," said Amyra.
She added that sometimes the hero would call her early to set, make her wait all day in her caravan and then send an assistant director after 12 to 13 hours to tell her that she wasn't going to shoot. "I was even made to apologise to him by the producer for ignoring him," added Amyra.
